Communal Areas - Cleaning

Cleaning of the common areas on the Estate is carried out by our Cleaners and the Day Porters as detailed below. The Schedule pertinent to each block is posted on the notice board in the entrance lobby.

Monday, Tuesday and Friday

Tiled flooring areas are washed.
Carpeted stairs and landings are vacuumed.

Daily, Monday to Friday

The interiors and mirrors of the lifts are polished.
The rubbish is collected from the flat entrances. ( Monday to Saturday )

Monday, Wednesday and Friday

All window cills, dado rails and skirting are dusted.
The front entrances are swept.

Tuesday & Friday

The internal brass rails and main door handles are polished.
The glass of the main door is cleaned inside and out.
Lacquered brass rails are cleaned.
Non lacquered brass rails are polished.

Weekly

All common parts, light wells and court yards are swept.
All rear gullies are checked and cleared.

Monthly

The stairwell paintwork, window cills, and dado rails are washed.
All gullies at the front and rear of each mansion are cleared.
All light fittings are cleaned.
The tops of the front door frames to each flat and the main door are cleaned.
The steps of the mansion entrances are washed.
